Sunroof Reverses While Closing (Anti-Pinch) - keywords C3U

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer may comment the sunroof will reverse direction and re-open when express closing it. The cause may be that the anti-pinch feature is being invoked as a result a tight interface condition between the tracks and mechanical arm assembly.

Replace the sunroof frame (less glass, motors, and trim).

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
