Subject: | Clunk, Rattle Noise Coming From Rear of Vehicle When Driving Over Bumps (Inspect Rear Stabilizer Link) |
Models: | 2008 Cadillac CTS |
Built Prior to 1/31/08 |
Some customers may comment on a clunk or rattle noise coming from the rear of the vehicle when driving over bumps.
This condition may be caused by left or right rear stabilizer shaft links that were damaged during new vehicle transit.
Inspect the left and right rear stabilizer shaft link for possible weld damage. If there is damage to either of the links, or the links are broken, replace BOTH the left and right stabilizer links.
Important: DO NOT replace any other suspension components.
