The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment about a metal to metal creak sound from the rear interior of the vehicle when turning corners and driving over very small bumps and swells. The cause may be contact between the rear glass attachment bracket (1) for the rear sunroof window and the roof metal (2).
Recommendation/Instructions:
Discard one of the two washers (3) located between the rear glass attachment bracket and the side rail on each side and reassemble.
Important: Ensure the sunroof window height and opening fit adjustment is set correctly after the repair.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
