Easy Exit Function Position Will Not Save - keywords memory operation program recall set store

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer may comment the Easy Exit seats will not save or store the position they desire. A single beep will be heard instead of the double beep mentioned in the Owner Manual pg. 1-7.

The Owner Manual is incorrect; the exit position cannot be stored on this vehicle for either driver. See the SI version of the Owners' Manual, Document ID 2008034 for the correct information on this system.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
