    • DT-47725 Extension Housing Bearing Cup Installer
    • DT-47726 Countershaft Rear Bearing Installer

Rear Case Assemble

    Object Number: 1481564 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure that the rear case housing installation surfaces are free of dirt and sealant.

  1. Apply gear oil to new bearing. Use DT-47726 to install new bearing (138).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1467809 Size: SH
  2. Install the bearing retainer (21) and bolt (38).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 11.3 N·m (100 lb in).

  3. Install the gasket (29).

    4. Object Number: 1467807 Size: SH
  4. Install the oil trough (17).

    5. Object Number: 1481561 Size: SH
  5. Using DT-47722 , install the bearing (25) in the rear case.

    6. Object Number: 1481563 Size: SH
  6. Using DT-47725 , install the tapered bearing race (139).

Middle Case Assemble
Object Number: 1481565 Size: SH

Using DT-47722 , install the bearing (8) in the middle case.
