Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Lower the front of the rear cradle to gain access to the adjustment link bolt retaining nut. Refer to Rear Frame Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 1969746 Size: SH
  4. Remove the adjustable link mounting bolts (1) and (2).

    5. Object Number: 1969866 Size: SH
  5. Remove the adjustable link (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1969866 Size: SH
  1. Position the adjustable link (1) in the frame.

    2. Object Number: 1969746 Size: SH
  2. Hand tighten the mounting bolts (1) and (2).

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Tighten the adjustable link mounting bolts (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the mounting bolt to 160 N·m (118 lb ft).

  4. Tighten the adjustable link mounting bolts (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the mounting bolt to 170 N·m (125 lb ft).

  5. Raise the front of the rear cradle. Refer to Rear Frame Replacement.
  6. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  7. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  8. Adjust the rear toe. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment.
