Tools Required

1. Remove the generator and water pump drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement .
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
3. Remove the transmission bell housing inspection hole cover.
4. Install the EN-48018 flywheel holding tool as shown.
5. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.



6. Use the J 24420-C in order to remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Removal .

1. Install the crankshaft balancer using the J 41998-B . Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Installation .



2. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
3. Remove the EN-48018 flywheel holding tool.
4. Install the transmission bell housing inspection hole cover.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Install the A/C compressor and power steering pump drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement .
