Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2006 🢒 CTS 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 6.0L 🢒 Oil Level Indicator and Tube Installation

  1. Inspect the O-ring seal for cuts or damage. If the oil level indicator tube O-ring seal is not cut or damaged, it may be reused.
  2. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  3. Install the O-ring seal onto the oil level indicator tube.
  4. Install the oil level indicator tube into the oil pan and rotate into the proper position.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the tube bolt to the right cylinder head.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the oil level indicator tube bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  6. Install the oil level indicator into the tube.
