Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1771211 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil filter.

    2. Object Number: 1771215 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil pan cover bolts, cover, and gasket.
  3. Discard the gasket.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1771215 Size: SH
  1. Install a new gasket, the cover, and bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pan cover bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).


    Object Number: 1771211 Size: SH
  2. Install the oil filter.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the oil filter to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
