INOPERATIVE LOW COOL LIGHT LIGHT OPERATION OUTLINED

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 2.0L L-4 (VIN CODE 1) J CAR

During the 1987 model year, a change has been made to the low engine coolant light system of the 2.0L L-4 (VIN Code 1)"J" cars. The light will no longer illuminate on the instrument panel at low coolant levels on the following vehicles after the VIN breakpoints stated:

Dealers should not attempt to repair or alter this as-built condition.
