HOT HESITATION/STALLING NEW PROM P/N'S LISTED REV.

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 'J' CARS WITH 2.0L OHC L-4 ENGINE (ENGINE CODE K) AND AUTO TRANS.

Some 1987 'J' cars equipped with 2.OL OHC engines (LT2) and automatic transmissions (MD9) may exhibit hot hesitation, stall (cold or hot) on gear engagement, or an erratic idle.

If customer comments are received that cannot be resolved using published diagnostic procedures and service information, the following service PROMS are available:
