WATER IN AIR CLEANER CORRECTION INFORMATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 'J' Series Vehicles Equipped With 1.0L Turbo Engine (VIN Code 'J')

Under some driving conditions an accumulation of water may occur inside the air cleaner of the 1984 'J' Series vehicles equipped with the 1.8L Turbo engine. To alleviate the water accumulation condition a 4 mm (1/8 in) hole may be drilled in the lower rib of the air cleaner. See illustration.
