STABILIZER BAR INSULATOR BUSHING SQUAWK

MODELS AFFECTED: 1985-86 SKYHAWK & SOMERSET --------------- 1986 SKYLARK

A squawk noise from the front stabilizer bar insulator bushings may be corrected by installing new Teflon lined bushings. The new bushings are being used in production beginning approximately February 1, 1986.

Bushing part numbers and applications are shown below:

Stabilizer Bar Bushing 24mm Shaft Diameter

Part Number 22532210 (Replaces No. 14085145). 1985-86 Skyhawk with standard suspension. 1985-86 Somerset & 1986 Skylark with 2.5L engine.

Stabilizer Bar Bushing 28mm Shaft Diameter

Part Number 22532212 (Replaces No. 14085147). 1985-86 Skyhawk with F40 or F41 suspension. 1985-86 Somerset & 1986 Skylark with 2.5L engine and F41 or with 3.0L engine.

Stabilizer Bar Bushing 30mm Shaft Diameter

Part Number 22532213 (Replaces No. 14085148). 1985-86 Skyhawk with FE2. 1985-86 Somerset and 1986 Skylark with 3.0L engine and F41.
