Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

    in General Information.
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information. Support the vehicle with safety stands.
  3. Remove the lower front air deflector.
  4. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  5. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) and the outlet hose (2) from the radiator and the engine (L36 and L67).

  8. Object Number: 69929  Size: SH
  9. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) and the outlet hose (2) from the radiator and the engine (L47).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 23660  Size: SH
  1. Install the radiator inlet hose (1) and the outlet hose (2) to the engine and the radiator (L36 and L67).

  2. Object Number: 69929  Size: SH
  3. Install the radiator inlet hose (1) and the outlet hose (2) to the engine and the radiator (L47).

  4. Object Number: 69922  Size: SH
  5. Install the lower front air deflector.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling
  8. Connect the negative battery cable.
  9. Start the engine.
  10. Idle the engine.
  11. Check for leaks.
