Removal Procedure

    Caution: To help avoid personal injury or damage to the vehicle, a bent, cracked, or damaged fan blade or housing should always be replaced.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the motor and the fan frame.

  3. Object Number: 69943  Size: SH
  4. Remove the fan guard and the hose support as needed.
  5. Remove the fan assembly from the radiator support.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 69943  Size: SH
  1. Install the fan assembly to the radiator support.

  2. Object Number: 69943  Size: SH
  3. Tighten the bolts to specifications.
  4. Connect the wiring harnesses to the fan motors.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
