CONTROL VALVE EXPLODED VIEW INSTALLATION /325 TRANSMISSION

IN YOUR 1982 SERVICE MANUAL, FIGURE 325-4L-221 ON PAGE 325-4L-57 REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING REVISIONS: 1.THE VALVE TRAIN NUMBERED 35 TO 37 MUST BE ALTERED TO SHOW THE ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE AS FOLLOWS: (SEE FIGURE 1.) A) LINE BIAS VALVE SPRING (NEXT TO VALVE BODY) B) LINE BIAS VALVE C) BORE PLUG D) COILED SPRING PIN THE LINE BIAS VALVE SPRING (NO. 36) SHOULD BE INSTALLED BEFORE THE LINE BIAS VALVE (NO. 35). 2.ALL BORE PLUGS HAVE A SMALL HOLE ON ONE SIDE TO AID IN DISASSEMBLY. THE FLAT SIDE OF THE BORE PLUG (WITHOUT THE HOLE) MUST FACE THE VALVE TRAIN WHEN INSTALLED. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR SERVICE MANUAL BY REPLACING FIGURE 325-4L-221 WITH FIGURE 1 FROM THIS BULLETIN.
