ROUGH 3-4 SHIFT 1982 THM 325-4L 'BE' MODELS

SOME 1982 THM 325-4L TRANSMISSIONS, MODELS CODED "BE", MAY EXPERIENCE A ROUGH 3-4 SHIFT THAT SOMETIMES MAY BE FELT AS A 3-4 LET-UP "BUMP".

TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION, A SERVICE PACKAGE HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE. THIS SERVICE PACKAGE CONTAINS A REVISED ACCUMULATOR HOUSING THAT HAS THE PISTON POCKET MACHINED 5MM (.190 IN.) DEEPER AND TWO ACCUMULATOR PINS THAT ARE 5MM (.190 IN.) LONGER. IN ADDITION, A REVISED 3-4 ACCUMULATOR SPRING MUST BE IN- STALLED. THESE PACKAGES WILL LENGTHEN THE STROKE OF THE 3-4 PISTON AND PROVIDE A SMOOTH 3-4 SHIFT FEEL.
