Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front bucket seat from the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the front seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
  3. Remove the front seat adjuster. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector for the heated seat, if equipped.

  5. Object Number: 627157  Size: SH
  6. Remove the J-hook retainers on the front of the front seat cushion cover.

  7. Object Number: 627169  Size: SH
  8. Remove the J-hook retainers on the sides of the front seat cushion cover.

  9. Object Number: 627173  Size: SH
  10. Remove the J-hook retainers on the rear of the front seat cushion cover.

  11. Object Number: 627480  Size: SH
  12. Remove the hook and the loop retainers securing the seat cushion cover to the cushion.

  13. Object Number: 627178  Size: SH
  14. Remove the hog rings from the front seat cushion cover.
  15. Remove the front seat cushion cover from the front seat cushion.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 627178  Size: SH
  1. Install the seat cushion cover onto the front seat cushion.
  2. Install the hog rings from the front seat cushion cover.

  3. Object Number: 627157  Size: SH
  4. Install the J-hook retainer on the front of the front seat cushion cover.

  5. Object Number: 627169  Size: SH
  6. Install the J-hook retainers on the sides of the front seat cushion cover.

  7. Object Number: 627173  Size: SH
  8. Install the J-hook retainer on the rear of the front seat cushion cover.

  9. Object Number: 627480  Size: SH
  10. Install the hook and the loop retainers securing the seat cushion cover to the cushion, by pressing in place until fully seated.
  11. Install the front seat adjuster. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Replacement .
  12. Connect the electrical connector for the heated seat, if equipped.
  13. Install the front seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
  14. Install the front bucket seat to the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
  15. Caution: To avoid personal injuries, re-zero the passenger presence system whenever you remove or replace the seat cushion or trim. Failure to do so may cause the system to malfunction.

  16. Re-zero the passenger presence system. Refer to Passenger Presence System Rezeroing.
