Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 754909 Size: SH
  1. Release the locking tabs on the liftgate trim panel access panel and remove the access panel.
  2. Remove the wing nuts from the studs on the liftgate applique.
  3. Remove the liftgate applique nuts.
  4. Partially remove the liftgate applique to access the electrical connector.
  5. Disconnect the liftgate applique electrical connector.
  6. Remove the liftgate applique.

  7. Remove the license plate lamp sockets from the liftgate applique.
  8. Remove the liftgate applique lamp sockets from the liftgate applique.
  9. Remove the backup lamp sockets and harness from the liftgate applique.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 761258 Size: SH
  1. Install the backup lamp sockets and harness to the liftgate applique.
  2. Install the liftgate applique lamp sockets to the liftgate applique.
  3. Install the license plate lamp sockets to the liftgate applique.

    4. Object Number: 754909 Size: SH
  4. Connect the liftgate applique electrical connector.
  5. Install the liftgate applique to the liftgate.

    6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  6. Install the liftgate applique nuts.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the liftgate applique nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the wing nuts to the studs on the liftgate applique.
  8. Hand tighten the wing nuts.
  9. Install the liftgate trim panel access panel and engage the locking tabs. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
