Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2007 🢒 Rendezvous - FWD 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 4T65-E 🢒 Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement .
  4. Use a utility stand with a block of wood in order to support the transaxle.

    5. Object Number: 368791 Size: SH
  5. Remove the transaxle mount upper nuts.

    6. Object Number: 161246 Size: SH
  6. Remove the transaxle mount bracket bolts.
  7. Remove the transaxle mount bracket.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the transaxle mount bracket.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 161246 Size: SH
  2. Install the transaxle mount bracket bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Start with the forward lower bolt and work clockwise to tighten the transaxle mount bracket bolts to 95 N·m (70 lb ft).

  3. Remove the utility stand.

    4. Object Number: 368791 Size: SH
  4. Install the transaxle mount upper nuts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the transaxle mount upper nuts to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

  5. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement .
  6. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
