Radiator Hose Replacement Inlet Hose-3100

Removal Procedure

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

  1. Partially drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the left diagonal brace. Refer to Upper Diagonal Brace in Body Front End.

  3. Object Number: 63507  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the inlet hose from the thermostat housing using the J 38185 .
  5. Disconnect the inlet hose from the radiator using the J 38185 .
  6. Remove the inlet hose.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 63507  Size: SH
  1. Install the inlet hose in position and align the marks on the hose.
  2. Connect the inlet hose to the radiator using the J 38185 .
  3. Connect the inlet hose to the thermostat housing using the J 38185 .
  4. Install the left diagonal brace. Refer to Upper Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
  5. Important: To properly fill the system you must use the air bleed vents. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

  6. Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Radiator Hose Replacement Outlet Hose-3100

Removal Procedure

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the right side electric cooling fan. Refer to Electric Cooling Fan .

  3. Object Number: 70060  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the outlet hose from (3) the water pump housing (1) using the J 38185 .
  5. Disconnect the outlet hose (3) from the radiator (2) using the J 38185 .
  6. Remove the outlet hose.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 70060  Size: SH
  1. Install the outlet hose in position and align the marks on the hose.
  2. Connect the outlet hose (3) to the radiator (2) using the J 38185 .
  3. Connect the outlet hose (3) to the water pump housing (1) using the J 38185 .
  4. Install the right side electric cooling fan. Refer to Electric Cooling Fan .
  5. Important: To properly fill the system you must use the air bleed vents. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

  6. Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Radiator Hose Replacement Inlet Hose-3800

Removal Procedure

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

  1. Partially drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the left diagonal brace. Refer to Upper Diagonal Brace in Body Front End.

  3. Object Number: 163324  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the inlet hose from the thermostat housing using the J 38185 .
  5. Disconnect the inlet hose from the radiator using the J 38185 .
  6. Remove the inlet hose.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 163324  Size: SH
  1. Install the inlet hose in position and align the marks on the hose.
  2. Connect the inlet hose to the radiator using the J 38185 .
  3. Connect the inlet hose to the thermostat housing using the J 38185 .
  4. Install the left diagonal brace. Refer to Upper Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
  5. Important: To properly fill the system you must use the air bleed vents. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

  6. Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Radiator Hose Replacement Outlet Hose-3800

Removal Procedure

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the right side electric cooling fan. Refer to Electric Cooling Fan .

  3. Object Number: 70050  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the outlet hose from (3) the water pump housing (1) using the J 38185 .
  5. Disconnect the outlet hose (3) from the radiator (2) using the J 38185 .
  6. Remove the outlet hose.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the outlet hose in position and align the marks on the hose.
  2. Connect the outlet hose (3) to the radiator (2) using the J 38185 .
  3. Connect the outlet hose (3) to the water pump housing (1) using the J 38185 .
  4. Install the right side electric cooling fan. Refer to Electric Cooling Fan .
  5. Important: To properly fill the system you must use the air bleed vents. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

  6. Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Radiator Hose Replacement Inlet Hose-3.4L

Removal Procedure

Tools Required

J 38185 J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

  1. Partially drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the left diagonal brace. Refer to Upper Diagonal Brace in Body Front End.

  3. Object Number: 63507  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the inlet hose from the thermostat housing using the J 38185 .
  5. Disconnect the inlet hose from the radiator using the J 38185 .
  6. Remove the inlet hose.

  1. Install the inlet hose in position and align the marks on the hose.
  2. Connect the inlet hose to the radiator using the J 38185 .
  3. Connect the inlet hose to the thermostat housing using the J 38185 .
  4. Install the left diagonal brace. Refer to Upper Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
  5. Important: To properly fill the system you must use the air bleed vents. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

  6. Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

  5. Disconnect the outlet hose (3) from the radiator (2) using the J 38185 .
  6. Remove the outlet hose.
