Tools Required

1. Use the J 37096 in order to hold the flywheel.



2. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt.

Important: Do not separate the pulley from the balancer. Service the pulley and the balancer as an assembly.

3. Use the J 38197-A in order to remove the crankshaft balancer.

3.1.	Invert the J 38197-2 so that the leg of the tool is facing away from the crankshaft balancer.

3.2.	Install the silver screws (J 38197-4) to the crankshaft balancer.

3.3.	Turn the J 38197-1 in order to remove the crankshaft balancer from the crankshaft.

3.4.	Remove the J 38197-1, J 38197-2, and J 38197-4 from the crankshaft balancer.
