OIL COOLER ADAPTER SEAL AND TORQUE SPECIFICATION

MODELS AFFECTED: 1986 AND 87 REGAL T-TYPE M D GRAND NATIONAL EQUIPPED VITH LC2 (VIN 7) ENGINE

A new O-Ring Seal, Part Number 25530999, has been released for service. The new O-Ring improves the sealing of the oil cooler adapter to the oil pump cover. The proper torque value for the adapter retainer is 50 N.m (37 lbs. ft.).
