Tools Required

J 28467-360 Engine Support Fixture

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

   Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

   in General Information.
2. Install the J 28467-360 .
3. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.
4. Remove the case side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement (W/ Gasket) .



5. Remove the wiring harness as necessary.



6. Remove the oil pump to valve body bolts.
7. Inspect the oil pump. Refer to Transmission Unit Repair Manual.

1. Install the oil pump to the valve body.

Notice: Use a torque wrench to tighten the pump to valve body bolts. Do not exceed the torque specifications.




2. Install the oil pump to valve body bolts.



3. Install the wiring harness, if removed.
4. Install the case side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement (W/ Gasket) .
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Remove the J 28467-360 .
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
