Navigation Antenna Coaxial Cable Replacement Body Cable

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the rear quarter lower panels. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the rear upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  7. Disconnect the navigation antenna coaxial cable from the navigation antenna (2).

  8. Object Number: 1204244  Size: SH
  9. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  10. Adjust the carpet for access to the antenna cable (2) and body harness as required. Refer to Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.

  11. Object Number: 1551281  Size: SH
  12. Disconnect the antenna cable from the antenna extension cable (1).
  13. Cut off the visible ends of the antenna cable from the wiring harness in the following locations:
  14. • The lower pillar garnish area
    • The rear shelf area

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1204244  Size: SH
  1. Install the antenna cable (2) to the vehicle. Use electrical tape in order to secure the antenna cable to the top of the wiring harness. Secure the cable to the harness at least every 150 mm (6 in).

  2. Object Number: 1551281  Size: SH
  3. Connect the antenna cable to the antenna extension cable (1).
  4. Install the carpet. Refer to Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.

  7. Object Number: 1204254  Size: SH
  8. Connect the navigation antenna coaxial cable to the navigation antenna (2).
  9. Install the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  10. Install the rear upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  11. Install the rear quarter lower panels. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  12. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  13. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.

Navigation Antenna Coaxial Cable Replacement Instrument Panel Extension Cable

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1551281  Size: SH
  1. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the antenna extension cable (1) from the antenna cable.
  4. Disconnect the antenna extension cable from the communication interface module. The cable is on the passenger side of the module.
  5. Cut off the visible ends of the antenna extension cable.

Installation Procedure

  1. Route the antenna extension cable. Secure the cable.
  2. Connect the antenna extension cable to the communication interface module.
  3. Connect the antenna extension cable to the module to the antenna cable (1).
  4. Install the lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the left I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
