Mobile Telephone Antenna Coaxial Cable Replacement Body Cable

1. Remove the garnish molding from the right windshield pillar. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Lower the front of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Disconnect the antenna base lead.
4. Remove the body mobile telephone antenna cable from the inner roof panel and the windshield pillar.



5. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
6. Remove the passenger lower pillar trim. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Pull back the carpet for access.
8. Disconnect the body antenna cable from the I/P mobile telephone antenna cable.
9. Remove the antenna cable.

1. Route the I/P antenna cable along the I/P harness.
2. Secure the I/P antenna cable to the I/P harness.



3. Route the body antenna cable behind the I/P bracket.
4. Connect the body antenna cable to the I/P antenna cable.
5. Install the carpet.
6. Install the passenger lower pillar trim. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the right I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.



8. Install the body antenna cable to the inner roof panel and the windshield pillar.
9. Connect the antenna base lead.
10. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
11. Install the passengers windshield pillar garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.

Mobile Telephone Antenna Coaxial Cable Replacement Instrument Panel Extension

1. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
2. Remove the passenger lower pillar trim. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
3. Pull back the carpet for access.
4. Disconnect the body antenna cable from the I/P mobile telephone antenna cable.



5. Disconnect the I/P antenna cable from the communication interface module by pulling down on the square plastic housing.
6. Cut off the visible ends of the I/P antenna cable.

1. Connect the I/P antenna cable to the communication interface module by pushing on the square plastic housing.
2. Route the I/P antenna cable along the I/P harness.
3. Secure the I/P antenna cable to the I/P harness.



4. Connect the body antenna cable to the I/P antenna cable.
5. Install the carpet.
6. Install the passenger lower pillar trim. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
7. Install the right I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
