FRONT DISC BRAKE NOISE NEW LINING SERVICE KIT

FRONT BRAKE DISC PAD CHANGE

MODELS AFFECTED: 1985-1986 ELECTRAS AND 1986 LESABRES ---------------- Approximately May 1, 1986 Electras and LeSabres will be assembled with front disc broke pads which have a new lining material (DM 8087) and a new three layer noise insulator. These brake pads can be identified as shown in illustration.

The new front disc pads are available from GMWDD under Part Number 12321422. Front disc brake noise can be reduced on 1985 Electras and 1986 Electras and LeSabres manufactured prior to the above brake pad change by the installation of the new lining Service Kit, Part Number 12321422.
