A POSSIBLE CAUSE OF SHIFT CYCLING BETWEEN THIRD AND FOURTH GEAR ON AN EARLY PRODUCTION 1982'B,C, AND E' CARS EQUIPPED WITH THE 4.1L ENGINE (CODE 4) COULD BE THE SERVO INTERNAL SPRING TENSION. CHECK THE SERVO. IF IT IS BLACK, IT SHOULD BE CHANGED TO ONE THE FOLLOWING: PART NUMBER: 25031845 FOR 'B' AND 'C' CAR PART NUMBER: 25031846 FOR 'E' CAR. THE NEW SERVO IS GRAY IN COLOUR.
