Fatigue of forward clutch housing resulting in no forward or reverse operation. See Illustration.
Excessive pinion pin runout in the output carrier.
Inspect for and replace all worn bushings, especially the input ring gear bushing, Group 4.158, Part Number 8641117.
Replace the broken forward clutch housing, Group 4.169, Part Number 360943. Output shaft can be pressed out of old housing and reused.
In making the above repairs, the output carrier, Group 4.175, Part Number 1250023 must be replaced to eliminate the possibility of a recurrence of this condition.
