A SURGING CONDITION CAN BE CAUSED BY A KINKED VACUUM HOSE IN THE CRUISE SYSTEM. TWO AREAS THAT MAY NEED RE-ROUTING ARE LOCATED AS FOLLOWS: 1.THE SERVO HOSE/BRAKE RELEASE HOSE TEE CONNECTOR AT THE DASH GROMMET 2.THE VACUUM SOURCE CHECK VALVE THE RECOMMENDED FIX FOR THIS CONDITION IS TO ROUTE THE HOSES, RE-ORIENT THE TEE CONNECTOR, AND REMOVE THE TAPE AS SHOWN. THIS WILL PROVIDE SUFFICIENT SLACK IN THE VACUUM HOSES TO CORRECT ANY KINKED HOSES (FIGURE 1).
